The Mayor's charity carol service is at St Mary The Boltons on 9 December, 6.30pm, £25, under-13s free. Plus eight Cadogan Hall carol concerts from £24.50.

The Mayor of Kensington and Chelsea’s charity carol service is on Wednesday 9 December 2026 at St Mary The Boltons, SW10 9TB. Doors open at 6pm, the service starts at 6.30pm and seasonal refreshments follow from 7.30pm. Tickets are £25, and children under 13 go free. The money goes to the Kensington + Chelsea Foundation, the borough’s community charity, which sells the tickets through Eventbrite (Kensington + Chelsea Foundation).

That is the only carol service in the borough with a published 2026 date so far. Cadogan Hall on Sloane Terrace, by contrast, has its whole Christmas season on sale, with eight carol and choir concerts between 1 and 24 December. Both are set out below. The parish churches had not posted their Christmas service times when we checked on 25 October, and we will add them as they do.

Carol concerts at Cadogan Hall

Cadogan Hall is the borough’s main concert hall for Christmas music. Every date, time and price here is from the hall’s own listings, read on 25 October 2026. The hall adds a £4.50 transaction fee per online booking, not per ticket, and its “from” prices include it.

Date Concert Time Tickets
Tue 1 December The Macmillan Carol Concert, carols and celebrity readings for Macmillan Cancer Support 7pm £29.50 to £84.50, limited availability
Tue 8 December Christmas Fanfare, City of London Choir 7.30pm £24.50 to £49.50; under-16s and students half price by phone or in person
Wed 9 December The Choir with No Name’s Big Christmas Singalong, with Suggs 7pm £31.50; seniors and students £19.50, not online
Tue 15 December Carols at Cadogan, The Bach Choir with London City Brass 7.30pm £24.50 to £59.50; under-16s and students 25% off, limited availability

If you want one with the audience singing, the Choir with No Name singalong and Candlelit Carols are the obvious picks. The Sixteen is a concert, not a singalong.

What is not confirmed yet

  • Parish church carol services. The big Kensington and Chelsea churches, including St Mary Abbots, Chelsea Old Church and Holy Trinity Sloane Square, had no 2026 carol service or Christmas service times on their websites on 25 October. Chelsea Old Church’s site was showing only October’s services, and St Mary Abbots’ site did not load. Churches usually post Christmas times in late November; we will add them here.
  • The Chelsea Pensioner Singers. The Royal Hospital Chelsea says the Pensioners will sing carols “at pubs, venues and events across Chelsea and beyond” through November and December, but gives no dates (Royal Hospital Chelsea).
  • Carols at the Royal Albert Hall. The hall’s website blocks automated checks, so we could not verify its 2026 Christmas dates or prices first hand and have not listed them.

Getting there and parking

Cadogan Hall is a few minutes’ walk from Sloane Square station. St Mary The Boltons is between Earl’s Court and West Brompton stations. December evenings in Chelsea are busy: check roadworks and travel in Kensington for closures, and read parking in Kensington and Chelsea before driving.

More Christmas in the borough: the Christmas markets, the Chelsea Christmas lights, the pantomimes, the Santa’s grottos and our What’s On this month listings.
